Fight Back for Pre-Teen (ages 11-13yrs)
This 4 hour hands-on seminar is a combination of our Safe Kids For Pre-Teen's lecture, that also incorporate simple and realistic self-protection techniques that are both retainable and usable should your child have to physically defend themselves from an attack, when the options of walking away or negotiation have failed. The goal of this program is not to turn your child into a peer aggressor, but rather to provide them with the physical skills needed to “defensively” protect themselves from a person who has become a physical threat to their personal safety, thus giving them the opportunity to run away. Topics covered include:
- Why their words are the most important weapon when it comes to personal safety, and how to use them
- The power of the self protection stance
- The use of “Voice Power”
- Non-verbal and verbal assertiveness development
- Hands-on self protection skills
- Empowerment and development of the W.I.N. (What Is Important Now) attitude
