This 1.5hr presentation is designed to provide parents and adults with real world information surrounding the most common street drugs that are presently being used, or experimented with, by youth and young adults. Knowledge, and understanding and application of that knowledge is power. This presentation provides you, the parent, guardian, caregiver and educator, with the knowledge needed surrounding street drugs such as:
- Marijuana, hashish, hash oil
- Cocaine and crack
- LSD and Acid
- Crystal methamphetamine
- Ketamine
- Heroin
- Ecstasy
- Magic Mushroom
- GHB
- Inhalants/solvents
- Anabolic Steroids
Not only will this presentation explain what each one of these drugs are, and the effects that they will likely have on the body, but it will also explain some of the tell-tale signs to be aware of when someone is using one of these drugs that can help you, as the adult, spot someone under the influence. We will also show you some of the common paraphernalia that is used in the consumption of these drugs, so you know what to look for. Darren is a reconized court expert in the area of street drugs and their use; let him share his knowledge with you the parent, guardian or teacher.
