As a child safety advocate and a law enforcement professional, for those parents who carry a smartphone, such as an iPhone, I highly recommend this App. When a child goes missing, time is of the essence and the sooner that law enforcement can get the required personal information about your child, including a recent picture, the better; this app provides law enforcement with such information. The information that you place into this app is not stored on any other external server, and can only be accessed by law enforcement once you hit the send button. Although American based, this app still has great application here in Canada and other countries around the world.

As I have mentiond in other postings, always ensure that your smartphone is password protected so that if lost or stolen, others will not be able to access information contained within your phone.
