How many of us have used “free charging kiosk’s”  that are popping up in airports, hotels, conference centres and shopping malls; especially when our smartphone or laptop is about to run out of power.  Did you know however, that these same kiosks can be configured by the criminal element  to read most of the data on you’re your phone, and even upload malware once you have plugged in ?  Have a read of this article:

Based upon the attached article, I would strongly recommend, especially if you are a business traveler, to always have a charging cord with you  (or even a spare battery) and to always think twice about using a free (or even pay for use) public charging kiosk.
