As a serving law enforcement professional, I have seen too much victimization when it comes to violent crime.  Often these violent crimes could have been averted if people would understood "The Way Of The Street", and how the street predator operates. In order to Deter, Detect, Defuse, and Defend oneself from crime, you must first understand thy enemy.  I wrote an article on this very topic about 10 years ago and the information contained in this article is still relevant today.  For those who have not read this article, I share it with you now.
